Meet Our Staff

Sam is one of our lead kennel attendants that has been working at Tail Gate for 4 years. She has two dogs, Aria and Apollo, as well as two cats, Raven and Pepper. If her pets could say anything about her, they’d say that she is the best treat lady and daily walker…AKA their FAVORITE person ever! Her favorite thing about working at TG is working with all the dogs and their unique personalities along with her coworkers. One of the greatest stories she loves to tell is how all our clients get her and her twin sister, Jess, confused. Sam was hired a week after Jess was and all her coworkers thought she was Jess and that she was playing a prank on them. It was so funny! When Sam isn’t working, she enjoys reading, exploring forest preserves with her fiancée, and do 1000-piece puzzles. Sam is such a blast, and we are so glad she’s part of our Tail Gate family!

Please join us in congratulating this week's Tail Gater of the Week, JASPER! Jasper is a very sweet and loving Shih Tzu and Schnauzer mix who has a blast vacationing with us throughout the year! Jasper is a little over 10 years old and has been part of our family since 2013 - he was only a little puppy!! It's been so much fun watching him grow from a shy little guy into the playful old man that he is now. Although his eyesight isn't the best, it definitely doesn't slow him down from partying his heart out! Jasper loves playing with his buddies Watson, Raphael, Max, and Luigi as well as flirt with the ladies Macy and Laci. He enjoys cuddling with the attendants and smooching as many treats as he can from everyone! Jasper is such a happy boy, and we are so glad he's part of our Tail Gate family!

Please join us in congratulating this week's Tail Gater of the Week, KOBE! Kobe is a very energetic and handsome Shepherd mix boy who is always excited to party with his friends. Kobe has a blast splashing in the kiddie pools, romping on the slides, and racing all of his buddies. Kobe has a great time playing with all the ladies - Mia, Nala, Bella Rose, Maya, and Kiwi. He's definitely a ladies man! He may look super serious here (always focusing on those treats), but he loves to show off his adorable smile to all the attendants. Kobe is such a happy boy, and we are so glad he's part of our Tail Gate family!

We'd like to welcome Pete, Myla, and Coda to our Tail Gate family! Today is their first day at Tail Gate and they are all enjoying a fun and playful day at daycare!

Meet Pete! Pete is a super handsome and sweet black Labrador who is enjoying meeting new friends. Pete has been having a great time with Rocky, Freya, Hannah, and Snickers!

Say "hi" to Myla! Myla is a super adorable English Cream Golden Retriever who is having a wonderful time hanging out with her new FURR-ever friends Lexi, Meatball, Bowie, and Keeley.

Welcome, Coda! Coda is a little shy, but very friendly Labrador/Pit mix who is exploring the play areas and enjoying hanging out with Juno, Nugget, Tuukka, and Willow.
